Interesting facts about me

I wasn't really born in 1900, and I wasn't born on February 29.

I think kudos should be an uncountable (or non-count) noun in English
and therefore always singular:

"three kudos" sounds like a chord strummed on an out-of-tune guitar image ,

while "three votes of kudos" rings as deeply and sweetly as the G Major (Ti/Si Major?) chord form that includes the D (Fa) note on the B (Re) string image .

This is because kudos is an ancient Greek noun (Κῦδος) that was borrowed (in its nominative singular form) directly into modern English.

Hi, i have a question, i just saw your pics in beards.org and you look a lot like every male in my family (dad´s side), and you said in the ethnicity thread that your ancestors arrive to america from a lot different countries in europe, i´m 100 percent european same as my dad so i was wondering if you can tell me a little more of your ethnicity background, my dad is part french, hungarian, portuguese, spanish but mostly italian, we have lighter skin but the face is almost the same. thanks. (sorry for my bad english) Tony

Wow, I put those pics there some time ago!

In no particular order, my ancestors left these parts of Europe for America:
    different parts of Germany,
    different parts of England,
    the Netherlands,
    France,
    the Basque area of Spain,
    Italy, and
Scotland (settled in Ulster for a few generations but I'm glad they left).

    Wishing you the best,

    Steve
